Fission Contributor License Agreement (CLA)

This Contributor License Agreement (“Agreement”) describes the terms under which contributions are accepted into the Fission project.

By submitting code, documentation, tests, assets, or any other contribution to Fission, you agree to the terms below.

1. Definitions

You retain ownership of your copyright in your Contributions.

3. License Grant to Fission

You grant the Project maintainer and future Fission maintainers a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license to:

4. Patent Grant

To the extent you own or control patent claims that would be infringed by your Contribution or by the combination of your Contribution with the Project, you grant the Project maintainer and recipients of the Project a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free patent license to make, have made, use, sell, offer for sale, import, modify, distribute, and otherwise run the Project.

If your Contribution includes code, content, or other material created by a third party, you must clearly identify it and ensure that it may be lawfully contributed under the terms of this Agreement.

7. No Obligation to Accept Contributions

The Project is not required to accept any Contribution.

Except as required by applicable law, Contributions are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.
